As VP of Design, I was responsible for how Carbon Health looked, worked, and felt across every patient and clinician touchpoint—from the patient app and EHR to the operational software powering our clinics and the physical spaces themselves. My team designed around real clinician workflows, connecting digital products and physical environments into a cohesive experience.
We grew the design organization from 2 to 25 across product design, research, marketing, brand, and architecture, bringing these disciplines into a vertically integrated team. We also established shared systems and internal efficiencies that enabled the organization to move faster while maintaining a unified visual and experiential language across the company.

Patient app

Designed the core patient experience across the full care journey—from booking and check-in to care plans, lab results, messaging, and health data. We also rapidly designed and shipped COVID-era check-in, screening, and compliance tools that enabled employers to safely manage workplace health requirements.

The software Carbon ran on, designed from scratch in house — a full EHR with charting, visit summaries, billing and an ambient scribe that records the appointment and writes the note, alongside staff scheduling, a shift marketplace, and provider utilization across every market.

Leading architecture and interior design for high-performance clinics — intentional, purpose-built environments for patients and providers, from storefront and exam room to wayfinding and mobile clinics.

One visual system stretched across every surface: iconography, apparel and merch, test-kit packaging, campaigns and social.
